Newcastle High School for Girls (UK)

InnovationLED worked with electrical consultancy S.I Sealy and installation contactors National Stage Technologies to deliver the general house light system for a new build £11m multipurpose venue at Newcastle High School for Girls.

InnovationLED’s fixtures with class leading dimming and control were specified to deliver a unified lighting system for the multi-purpose assembly hall and performing arts space.

Vega600 recessed tiles with custom powder coat finish were employed for the main area lighting while the Monano 3L fixtures were utilised to provide more directional general illumination for the stage area, the surrounding balcony being illuminated using recessed Adoni 2 downlights.

To simplify installation, control data to all fixtures in the installation was delivered via a wireless network. Control was provided using wireless Lyra 8 way panels with a data merger being installed to allow the flexibility of a takeover of the lighting system from a DMX desk during performances.
